Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2026
The short version
- Everything is agreed in writing before we build.
- You pay in stages. Once the final payment is in, the work is yours.
- We keep your information confidential.
- AI can make mistakes, so we build in checks where a person decides.
The full terms are below. Where they differ from a signed project agreement, the agreement wins.
Agreement
These terms apply when you use this website or hire Techwise IQ Technologies ("Techwise IQ", "we", "us") for a project, retainer or consultation. By engaging us, you accept them. If you are engaging us for a company, you confirm you are allowed to agree on its behalf.
Each piece of work also gets its own written proposal or project agreement. If that document and these terms differ, the project agreement wins.
Prices and quotes
"Starting from" prices on this site are a guide, not a quote. Your price is set in a written proposal once we understand the work. A proposal stays valid for the period it states. Prices exclude VAT, which is added where it applies.
Scope and changes
The written scope is the reference for deliverables, timeline and price. If you want something different or extra, we write down the change and what it does to time and cost, and only start once you approve it. We don't work from verbal agreements alone.
What we need from you
- One person who can give feedback and make decisions.
- Content, logins and access to your tools when the plan needs them.
- Reviews and approvals within the times agreed in the plan.
- The right to use anything you give us: text, images, logos, data. You are responsible for that material.
Timelines are estimates that depend on these. If feedback, content or access arrives late, the timeline moves with it.
Payment
Payment terms are set in each project agreement. Usually that means a deposit before work starts and stage payments tied to delivery. Invoices are due within the period shown on them. If a payment is late, we may pause work until it is settled, and the timeline moves by the same amount.
Third-party services
Most projects run on outside services: hosting, domains, email, payment gateways, app stores, AI models and other APIs. Where possible, these accounts are opened in your name so you own them. Their fees are yours, either paid directly or passed on at cost as agreed. Each service runs on its own terms, and we can't control its pricing, uptime or rule changes.
Testing and sign-off
We show you working versions as we go. Before launch, you test the result against the agreed scope and tell us about anything that doesn't match. We fix those issues, then you sign off. Going live counts as sign-off.
AI and automation work
AI tools can produce answers that are wrong, incomplete or inconsistent. We design automations with clear rules and with points where a person checks the output, and we write down the risks we find. You decide how the outputs are used in your business and stay responsible for those decisions.
We only connect the data, access and AI services we agreed with you in writing. See our privacy policy for how we handle project data.
Ownership
Once you have paid in full, you own the final deliverables made for your project: code, designs and content. At handover you get the source code, docs and logins.
We keep ownership of our general tools, methods and know-how, including anything we built before your project. Where these are part of your deliverables, you get a permanent licence to use them for that project. Open-source and third-party components stay under their own licences.
We may show the finished work in our portfolio, unless you ask us in writing not to.
Confidentiality
We keep your business information, data and project details confidential. We only share them where the work needs it (for example with a hosting provider), or where the law requires it. We are happy to sign an NDA.
After launch
Each project has a settling-in period after launch, with its length set in the agreement. During it, we fix defects in the work we delivered at no extra cost. New features, content changes and ongoing maintenance are not included. These can be covered by a support plan or quoted separately.
We are not responsible for problems caused by changes made by others after handover, or by third-party services changing or failing.
Limitation of liability
We build with care, but we can't guarantee results that depend on things outside our control: market conditions, search rankings, third-party platforms or your content. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profit, revenue or data. Our total liability for any project is limited to the fees you paid for it.
Ending a project
Either side can end a project with written notice, as set out in the project agreement. You pay for the work done up to that date, and we hand over the work you have paid for. Clauses on ownership, confidentiality, payment and liability still apply after a project ends.
Using this website
The content on this site is general information, not professional advice for your situation. Demos marked "Illustrative" use sample data. You may not copy the site's design or content for commercial use, or try to disrupt or break into it. Links to other sites are for convenience. We aren't responsible for their content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. If there is a dispute, we first try to settle it in good faith. If that fails, the courts of Dubai decide.
Changes
We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Work already agreed stays under the terms in place when it was signed.
